Adult Movies So Hot They Can Be 'Burned'

Vivid Entertainment, one of the world's largest adult film studios, said this week that it will soon begin selling downloadable movies that consumers can burn to DVDs and watch on TVs. The feature, which is expected to be launched next month, will be offered through the online film service, CinemaNow.

"With this, we're giving users the ability to download and burn a movie. And not just a movie, but all the things that come along with a standard DVD, like menus, graphics, art," Bill Asher, co-chief executive officer and co-owner of Vivid, told Reuters.

Exactly, Mr. Asher. What good is a porn film without the graphics and art.

Vivid's decision to go down(loadable) online will likely be followed by mainstream companies. Amazon.com is reportedly considering offering a similar download to DVD service for non-adult titles.
