John Travolta in HD: The Scoop On His Toup

John Travolta on the July 18th's Late Night With David Letterman.

Okay, I watched John Travolta in high-def last night (July 18) on Late Night With David Letterman. He was on to promote his new film, Hairspray, but all I could see was the hair piece.

As I noted yesterday, it's a Hollywood secret that Johnnie wears a toup, but in high-def, the secret is out. On Dave, you could see the little weaves that extend from the toup at his temples and the top of his forehead. And in HD, his "hair" is the most unrealistic looking thing I've ever seen. He was the star of Saturday Night Fever, but his hair looks like it came from a Saturday Night Beaver!
