Sunday (July 29) on HDNet prepare yourself for some good baby making music from Doug Burr! I'm featuring Doug on True Music w/Katie Daryl...also on the show Stephen Kellogg and Deer Hunter. Music is great to watch in high def because you can get a kick ass, up close look at the musicians beating the heck out of their instruments!

Sammy Hagar: Long-Lost Twin?

While shooting for "True Music w/ Katie Daryl" at Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina, I noticed this picture of Sammy on the wall and realized he is my long lost twin...scary!!!

This is a great picture, seriously there is so much going on! The guy in the naked 'David' apron is George Devore, a musician from Austin. He came along and played the Skytravel "Cabo Daze Wabo Nights" concert. The day after the show the True Music cameras followed some of the guys on a Jungle Reggae Booze Cruise. That's right, I have all of my 'blackmail pictures' on High Def tape. Katie Daryl: Tonight, I'm In a Bikini!

Happy 4th of July! Yesterday I spent the day at the beach shooting....wait for it.....in a BIKINI. I swear you guys reading this blog jinxed me by asking so many questions about when I'd get into a bathing suit. I never thought it would happen! And then next thing I know the HDNet Sports department was calling asking me to strip down and head out to the surf.

The footage will air today, July 4th on HDNet at 11PM EST 8 pacific. The guys on the crew kept telling me to pose sexy and I think awkward describes what happened a little better. I have no idea how to pose and turn let alone rub my belly in a way that would look hot. I think I'll stick to being a dork and leave the modeling stuff to the Pros!

Katie 'Belly Dances' in High-Def

I got Belly Dancing Lessons! I wiggled my butt at Dar Maghreb in Hollywood for Deadline! The segment will air (on HDNet) this Friday the 6th, so don't miss out! I think seeing my belly roll in HD will provide some good laughs for everyone, the sad part is really going to be my lack of rhythm.
