purchased a HDTV often ask me which high-def programs
they should watch. So, I have picked Swanni's 20
Best Shows in HDTV!
I have chosen each program for its high-def production values and its overall content. (All times eastern.)
Let's start with number 20 and work our way to the top.
20. The Young & The Restless
In the daytime soap, the 'H' in HDTV stands for hot. In high-def, the steam comes through the screen when the beautiful people get it on. It's enough to make the audience restless. By the way, Y&R is still the only daytime soap in high-def,.

19. NBA TV
Better than being courtside. The NBA TV high-def cameras get so close to the action that they should be whistled for a lane violation.

18. Story Tellers
Featuring artists such as Pearl Jam, Green Day and The Pretenders performing before a studio audience, MHD's Story Tellers is a feast for the eyes and the ears. Don't spent your money at Ticketmaster; just get MHD. But be careful holding up your lighter at the end of the show; couches can burn.

17. Bikini Destinations
The most beautiful women on the planet don bikinis and roll around sandy beaches at exotic locales. It's my recurrent dream come to life on screen! Seriously, this show arouses so much testosterone that it would turn Clay Aiken into Vince Vaughn.

The morning talkfest delivers a bright and vivid broadcast, although the in-studio cameras are 'filtered up' to gloss over the increasingly wrinkled Meredith Vieira.
