TVPredictions.com

Washington, D.C. (March 18, 2010) -- MSG Network next Wednesday will broadcast the New York Islanders/New York Rangers hockey game in 3-D.

That's according to an article by The New York Times.

The newspaper reports that it will be the first time a hockey game will be broadcast in 3-D. The 3-D broadcast will be displayed on a screen at the Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The Times writes that the 3-D event will be available to Cablevision subscribers; it's not clear if that means only Cablevision subscribers will be permitted to enter the theater.
