And not only that, the set's display is 100 inches, according to an article by ZDNet.
HDI, the company, which is based in Los Gatos, California, says the set operates at 1080Hz, much faster than current LCD sets. (This would dramatically reduce any motion blur effects on screen.)

But beyond that, the company is
short on details, such as cost,
launch date or if the company will
license the technology to a specific
brand. HDI did say the 3-D effect
would still require glasses,
however.
Mitsubishi,
which is now selling a Laser TV
billed as 'LaserVue,' has said Laser
will revolutionize the high-def
industry by offering crisper
pictures and more vivid colors. The
television, which uses a laser light
engine to display images, will
consume one-third of the power of a
Plasma HDTV.
Mitsubishi's Laser set is also
3-D-capable.
