Looking to promote its new expanded HDTV lineup, DIRECTV asked high-def owners for their favorites in several categories, including hottest celebrity, favorite show and even the best animal to watch in HD.

Here are some of the DIRECTV poll results:
Favorite Show In HDTV
NBC's Heroes finished first with ABC's Desperate Housewives second. DIRECTV said a "large female contingent" helped push Desperate Housewives to the second spot.
Best-Looking Sports Celebrity In HDTV
Tennis star Anna Kournikova took the top spot, followed closely by Tiger Woods and soccer star David Beckham. DIRECTV said Yogi Berra received one write-in vote.
Best Looking Celebrity Hair in HD
Eva Longoria was ranked number one, followed by Jessica Simpson. Donald Trump and Bruce Willis tied for last.
Most Amazing Channel to Watch in HD
DIRECTV said almost half of the survey respondents said Discovery's HD Theater with ESPN HD second.
Favorite Movie to Watch in HD
Transformers, which was just recently added to DIRECTV's HD PPV lineup, finished first with The Matrix second.
Sport Most Enhanced by HD
More than half of respondents said football with baseball second.
Top Animal to Watch In HD
Sharks was number one, but DIRECTV said fleas, monkeys and whales received write-in votes.
