Plus, the 42-inch LG LED Infinia 42LV5500 is priced today at just $711 -- about 55 percent off the regular list price of $1,599.

The free Network Blu-ray player offer, which lasts until July 9, 2011, is listed on the set's Home Page at Amazon.com. The player is the LG BD640; when you add the LG set to your cart, also add the LG Blu-ray player. Amazon will not charge you for the Blu-ray unit.

The 42-inch LED set also is ranked #121 today in Amazon's best-selling electronics category and it comes with 120Hz 'TruMotion' technology which is designed to eliminate blur motion in sports and other fast action programs.
