Q. I like Netflix's streaming, but I have one problem with it.  I can never tell which titles are new or how to find a new title. There is so much there that it's hard to tell if a new movie or TV show has been added. Any suggestions? -- Sammy, New York.

Sammy, I share your concern. Netflix's library of streaming titles can be overwhelming at times and I get frustrated because I don't know if a new title has been added. The Netflix home page has a New Additions section but it usually is limited or dated, in my opinion.

However, there is something that can help and it's called

The web site is devoted to monitoring Netflix activity, including when new titles are added; most popular titles among viewers;
and even which titles are most highly rated by subscribers. It's a great resource.

To find new titles, click the New page which currently lists 389 new selections, including several that were just added today. You can also filter the selections by whether they are available in HD and by rating, among other features. also has a list
of the most popular new titles, which can be found here.

Once upon a time, the site alerted readers when titles were removed from the Netflix library, but the video service is no longer making that information available to third parties. Nonetheless, is a must-read for any Netflix fan.
