Q.  I'm really digging my Google Chromecast. But when will it add HBO Go. It would be cool to watch HBO Go on my big screen rather than on my iPad. -- Wayne, Fairfax, Virginia.

Wayne, for those who are not familiar with Google Chromecast, the $35 device can
stream Internet video from your laptop or mobile device straight to your TV. The device has supported  Netflix, Google Play, Hulu Plus, Pandora and YouTube, but I have great news for you. HBO GO was added today.

Yes, starting today, you can watch HBO's On Demand service, HBO Go, on the big screen using an Android or iOS mobile device such as the iPad or iPhone. I just tried it on my TV and it looks great.

There are two things you have to do to watch HBO Go on Chromecast. First, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app. You can do that by looking in your app store and checking to see if a new version is available for download.

Second, you must be a subscriber to HBO and type in the account name and password for your subscription to your TV provider.

Once you have entered your account information, you can access the HBO Go app on your mobile and a little box will appear on screen that will give you the option to 'cast' the video to your TV.

And that's it. For instructions on how to install a Chromecast, click here.

By the way, Google says more Net TV services are coming to Chromecast. But besides Netflix, HBO Go is their biggest addition yet.
