Who's That Woman In the AT&T Commercial?
By Swanni

Washington, D.C. (February 26, 2014) - Editor's Note: TV's Answer Man, aka Swanni, takes your questions regarding how to best use the latest products and services in TV technology. If you have a question about TV technology, ask TV's Answer Man by sending an e-mail to

Q. I am totally in love with the woman who's in those AT&T 'family plan' commercials. But she looks familiar. Has she been on a TV show? Movie? Who is she?! I know you've told us before about women in commercials?-- Tony, Las Vegas.

Tony, I can't tell you how many people have e-mailed me to ask this very question. The AT&T commercials, which promote the company's new pricing plans if an entire family signs up, stars a comely brunette who acts as the fictional store's "supervisor" and people seem to be fascinated with her.

And, yes, in the past, I've written about Hannah Davis who played the 'Genie' in DIRECTV's HD DVR Genie commercials, and Carly Foulkes who starred in the popular 'pink' commercials for T-Mobile.

So to your question, the woman in the AT&T commercials is Milana Vayntrub, an actress, model and comedienne who has had small roles in numerous movies and TV shows including Californication, House of Lies (Showtime must love her, too) and Lizzie McGuire.

We're not sure of her age, but her Internet Movie Database says her age range is 17-24. Considering she played a young child in a 1997 episode of Days of Our Lives, I'm guessing she's around 25.

Who's that girl? It's Milana!

Milana has her own web site where you can find videos, including the AT&T spots, and her stand-up comedy routine, plus the usual collection of head shots, resumes and other material a young actress would like an old casting director to peruse.

And if Milana's name seems unusual to you, she's originally from
Uzbekistan, according to IMDB. Rumor has it that she's fluent in Russian.

What else can I tell you about Milana? You can follow her here on Twitter where her bio says, "Tweet on me so I can practice computer." (I told you she's a comedienne, too.)

You can also see a short episode from Milana's comedy web series, Let's Talk About Something More Interesting, below: (This episode also stars Matt Damon.)
