Ziva's Successor: Who Will Replace Her On NCIS?
By Allison Moore

Washington, D.C. (August 15, 2013) - Editor's Note: TV's Answer Woman, aka Allison Moore, takes your questions regarding TV stars and shows. If you have a question about TV entertainment, ask TV's Answer Woman by sending an e-mail to swann@tvpredictions.com

Q.
It looks like there's nothing bringing back Cote de Pablo on NCIS. Any guesses on who will replace her, if anyone? -- Aida, Las Vegas.

Aida, Cote de Pablo and CBS announced last month that the actress, who plays special agent Ziva David,  will leave NCIS sometime during the upcoming season. While the two have been mum on the reasons why, the speculation is they couldn't agree on a new deal. Money talks, folks.

Who will replace her? UPI.com reports that the network is looking for a new actress to play a special agent on the show. The wire service says a number of new characters will be seen in the early episodes of the season, but the final new cast member will join the show in January or February.

If true, that would suggest that Cote will leave in mid-season rather than towards the end of the season, as some have speculated.

UPI writes that the new character will be called Bishop and she will be in her mid-20s and "bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat social awkward."
With all those positive attributes, how could she possibly be socially awkward.

Thus far, no names have surfaced on who will play the mysterious Bishop. But I have one: Amanda Righetti, who's leaving The Mentalist. At 30, she would fit all the characteristics described above, right?
