Q. I heard a rumor that my favorite actress of all time, Miss Betty White, died. Tell me it's not true! -- Dorothy, Fairfax, Virginia.

In fact, the Associated Press reports that the Madame Tussauds wax museum in Washington, D.C. is going to honor Betty for her acting accomplishments and her great work in assisting animals.
The museum will unveil a new wax figure of the actress today, the wire service reports, and Washington Humane Society CEO Lisa LaFontaine will say a few things to celebrate Betty. Of course, Betty being Betty, no doubt that she will be ready with a few quips about how you won't be able to tell the difference between a wax figure and a 91-year-old woman.
In related news, Betty recently teamed with the California Wildland Fire Coordinating Group to film a public service announcement to combat wildfires. And on October 19, the Morris Animal Foundation of Denver will host a evening gala in Marina Del Rey in honor of Betty's work with the furry creatures.
So, as you can see, Betty is not only alive and well, but busier than ever.
