Washington, D.C. (April 13, 2008) -- What's the best show in High-Definition TV?
TVPredictions.com wants to answer the question once and for all.
Following our HDTV Hottie Hysteria tournament -- where we determined the hottest female star in high-def -- we are now starting a new elimination tournament to determine the best show in HD.
For the next 31 days, we will post a reader poll here pitting one top HDTV program against another. Then, based on your votes, each winner will move to the next round until only one show is left standing.
So, what makes for a great HDTV show?
Many things, but we believe that the 'Best Show In HDTV' should offer both great content and a great picture. We are looking for a program that shows off the technology as well as entertain the viewer with a compelling storyline.
(Note: We have chosen the nominees from primetime and late night schedules rather than special broadcasts such as afternoon sporting events.)
So, let's meet the 32 shows that will compete for the crown, as they are seeded by ranking in our four high-def categories.
