In round one of the Rear Projection division of HDTV Hottie Hysteria -- our first annual elimination tournament to determine the hottest female star in high-def -- we pit Biel (second seed in the Rear Projection division) against Diaz (seventh seed).

Biel (above), the 26-year-old star of such movies as The Illusionist, is often called one of Hollywood's leading sex symbols.


But Diaz (above) has been a regular on People Magazine's Most Beautiful List for years.
