HDTV: Black Friday Deals -- Revealed!
Details about some big discounts are starting to slip out.

Could it be true? You bet.
Retailers are expected to offer those prices the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 23), better known as Black Friday, the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season.
The discount prices will likely be available for one day only -- and may include restrictions on time and supply. Discount hunters also will have to contend with the frenzied atmosphere of Black Friday which some shoppers view as a day of combat.
While some retailers, such as Wal-Mart, are threatening legal action against anyone who publishes early sale details, some sites are now publishing advanced looks at some Black Friday newspaper ads.
For instance, the web site, gottadeal.com, says Costco is planning to sell a Magnavox 42-inch 1080p LCD HDTV for $999 and a Sharp 46-inch 1080p HDTV for $300 off on the big shopping day.
Other Black Friday sites, such as BlackFriday.info, are saying that Sears will sell a 42-inch LG Plasma HDTV for $899, a Panasonic 56-inch 1080p HDTV for $1,199 and a Toshiba HD-A3 HD DVD player for $169.
TVPredictions.com will offer more updates on Black Friday deals as they become available.
