The film, which has made nearly $800 million worldwide, is one of several top releases planned for the fourth quarter that the studios hope will boost both DVD and Blu-ray sales.
Paramount is expected to kick off the assault with the release of Iron Man on September 30.
The fourth Indiana Jones film, which returns Harrison Ford in the title role, also stars Cate Blanchett and Shai LaBeouf.
Paramount says the Blu-ray edition of the movie will include "spectacular bonus features that allow viewers to accompany the filmmakers and cast on a fascinating journey behind-the-scenes of this modern classic."
