Nats Get Yankee Reliever Bruney In Trade
By Swanni

The Times said the Nats obtained the 27-year-old Bruney for a player to be named later. The righthanded reliever last year was 5-0 with a 3.92 ERA in 44 games.

Bruney, who pitched four seasons for the Yankees, made $1.25 million last season and is eligible for salary arbitration.
