Judge Joe Brown Show Is Cancelled

By Allison Moore

Washington, D.C. (March 27, 2013) -- CBS Television Distribution has decided to cancel the Judge Joe Brown show after its 15th season ends in September.

Broadcasting and Cable magazine reports that Brown and the syndicate had a money dispute which led to the cancellation. The publication writes that CBS offered Brown a sharply decreased salary.

"Judge Joe Brown' will not be returning for another season," a CBS Television Distribution spokesperson told the web site. "We would like to thank Joe for 15 great years, as well as executive producer John Terenzio and the entire staff for all their hard work and dedication to the show."

The Wrap.com reports that Brown has contacted other distributors regarding keeping the show on the air after its run is over with CBS.
