MSNBC Cancels Disrupt

By Allison Moore

Washington, D.C. (June 8, 2014) -- MSNBC has cancelled Disrupt With Karen Finney after one year, MediaBistro.com reports.

The show, which aired at 4 p.m. ET on weekends, fared poorly in the ratings, capturing just 14,000 viewers between the ages of 25 and 54 for one episode, the site writes.

"Our thanks to Karen and their team for their great work," the network said in a statement. "Finney will remain with MSNBC as a contributor."

TheWrap.com reports that MSNBC is likely to fill the time slot with documentary programming.
