Washington, D.C. (March 2, 2010) -- Comcast has added two new High-Definition channels in the San Francisco Bay Area, the cable operator announced today.

The new channels are: Hallmark Channel HD, which will be available on Comcast's 'Digital Starter' package, and HSN HD, which will be available on its 'Limited Basic' lineup.

Comcast says it already offered more than 100 high-def channels in the Bay Area.

"These new high-definition networks add to our over 100 linear HD channels in the Bay Area and allow Comcast to continue to offer the most robust HD lineup available," said Comcast's Bryan Byrd.
