No Disney HD For Comcast -- Yet
The cable operator said the channels would be launched last week.

However, as of today, the channels -- Disney Channel HD and ABC Family HD -- have not been added nor have they been launched yet by Disney.
Jenni Moyer, a Comcast spokeswoman, told TVPredictions.com in an e-mail last Monday that the two channels would be added "this week" -- meaning the week of March 3-9.
Update: Moyer said today (March 11) that there was confusion in the Seattle office, making her believe the Disney channels would be launched last week. She now says they will be launched "in the coming weeks."
In a follow-up e-mail on March 3, TVPredictions.com asked Moyer which day they would be added. She did not respond to that e-mail or other inquiries since (including one today) asking about a launch day.
Moyer said last Monday that she was uncertain when the two channels would be added to other Comcast local systems.
DIRECTV said last year that it would also carry the two Disney channels -- when they launched. Disney-owned ESPNews is scheduled to launch at the end of March and there has been speculation that the company will launch Disney Channel HD and ABC Family HD then as well.
