Comcast Adds 17 HD Channels In Massachusetts
TVPredictions.com

Washington, D.C. (October 18, 2009) -- Comcast has added 17 new High-Definition channels in several Massachusetts communities, the company announced.

The press release did not mention the HD channels, but the communities that will get the new channels are:
Bellingham, Blackstone, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millis and Plainville.

Comcast said it was able to add the new channels because it has switched several non-HD channels from analog to digital, which creates more room on the local systems.
