Comcast: 90 HD Channels In Maryland

Washington, D.C. (November 11, 2009) -- Comcast says it now offers 90 HD channels in Annapolis, Maryland and the Maryland counties of Anne Arundel and Calvert.

However, it appears that some of the channels are Pay-Per-View, which may not offer programming 24 hours a day.

A Comcast spokeswoman says the cable operator added 38 high-def networks in Maryland last month. And Comcast added seven more HD channels this month, bringing its total to 90.

 The seven new channels are: ESPNUHD, MSNBC HD, Outdoor Channel HD, Tennis Channel HD, WGN America HD and two sports PPV channels (iNDemand Game HD and iNDemand Team HD.)

Last month's additions included: Bravo HD, CMT HD, Hallmark Movie Channel HD, MGM HD, Nick HD and The Weather Channel HD.
