The new channels are: TLC HD; Disney Channel HD; ABC Family HD; Food Network HD; Home & Garden TV HD; and The Science Channel HD.
The cable operator had announced that the channels would be added in late April, but they did not go on the air until last Friday.
Comcast is now expanding its high-def lineups in several markets in a bid to keep pace with satcasters DIRECTV and Dish Network.
The new list in Denver includes two recent HD channellaunches -- Disney Channel HD and ABC Family HD.
