Comcast Adds 11 HD Channels In Oregon, Washington
The new channels include CNN and ABC Family.

The new channels are: Disney Channel HD, ABC Family Channel HD, Discovery Channel HD, TLC HD, Science Channel HD, Food Network HD, Animal Planet HD, SciFi HD, CNN HD, AMC HD and TBS HD.
The cable operator says 10 of the new channels will launch on the Digital Starter HD service level in Oregon and SW Washington communities, with the Science Channel launching on Digital Classic.
Comcast has also added a new feature called 'AnyRoom On Demand' in Oregon and SW Washington which enables customers to select On Demand programs on one television and view them on any other TV in the home that has a digital cable box.
The AnyRoom feature does not require new equipment and is free.
"With Comcast HD service, it's a matter of choice. We offer more HD viewing choices than any other provider including 75 movies in HD and popular network shows available at any time," said Lars Lofas, vice president of marketing for Comcast in Oregon and SW Washington.
