"Our customers tell us that nothing beats watching Mariners game in person, but they say watching their favorite team in High Definition from the comfort of their living room comes pretty close; and, at least with High-Definition, they don't have to pay for parking," said Tom Pierce, vice president of marketing and sales for Comcast.
FSN Northwest also offers the Seattle Supersonics, Portland Trail Blazers and college football and basketball games in high-def.
Meanwhile, a group of fans in the Washington, D.C. area have posted an online petition urging the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network to broadcast the Washington Nationals in high-def this season. To learn more, click: Petition.
