Comcast has been aggressively promoting its On Demand service, arguably more than any other TV provider. Burke's remarks are more evidence that the cable operator believes that TV viewers are becoming more conditioned to an On Demand environment.
Comcast now offer roughly 100 hours of High-Definition programming on demand, but plans to expand that this year to at least 200 hours.
