Consumer Reports: 'Best Buys' For HDTVs
TVPredictions.com

Washington, D.C. (January 31, 2010) -- In advance of this month's Super Bowl and Winter Olympics, Consumer Reports has just issued its 'Best Buys' for High-Definition TVs.

The magazine says that the sets are not necessarily the most expensive or come with the largest screens.

"Whether you're a first time buyer or you want to upgrade your existing flat-panel, TV prices have never been better and they continue to fall," says Paul Reynolds, Electronics Editor of Consumer Reports.  "It's not always best to go for the least-expensive model; we've found that some features are worth the extra-cost."

The Consumer Reports ratings can be found in its March issue.

In the LCD category, Consumer Reports labels the following sets with the 'Best Buy' designation. (Set with links offer more information on the set's features and price.)
