-- You couldn't blame Mississippi TV retailer Eddie
Maloney if he roots like the devil for the Chicago Bears
this Sunday.
You see, Maloney promised every person who bought a HDTV during a special promotion last August that they would get their money back if the New Orleans Saints won the 2007 Super Bowl.
At the time, the promotion seemed like a sure winner for Maloney's "Cowboy Maloney's Electric City." The Saints finished 3-13 in 2006. And Maloney's store, which is based in Jackson, Mississippi, generated $1 million in high-def set sales during the special offer.

But now the Saints will play the Bears this Sunday in the NFC Championship game. If the Saints win, they will advance to the Super Bowl where one more victory would take $1 million from Maloney's cash register.
But Maloney tells WLOX-TV in Biloxi, Mississippi that he's not concerned.
"We got it all taken care of through a number of different sources, so the Maloney's are pulling for the Saints, just like everybody else," Eddie Maloney said. "No worry about going out of business, at least I hope not, because of this."
