The agreement allows DIRECTV customers with an 'HD Access' package to watch HDNet's original programming, much of which will be available within 24 hours of its network premiere.

HD Extra Pack subscribers will also have access to the 25 HDNet movies which will such favorites as Lost In Translation, The Nutty Professor, Hoosiers and 21 Grams.

According to DIRECTV, approximately three percent of its subscriber base have Broadband connections to their set-tops which permit viewing of the On Demand service.
