By Phillip Swann

Washington, D.C. (July 10, 2017) -DIRECTV will hold a free preview of the MLB Extra Innings package when teams resume play after this week’s All-Star Game break.

The preview, which will air on DIRECTV’s channels 719 to 749, will run from July 14 through July 20.

The DIRECTV edition of the Extra Innings package offers up to 100 regular season games with most of them available in High-Definition.

The plan normally costs anywhere from $170 to $200 for the full season plan of out-of-market games, but DIRECTV is likely to offer a mid-season price sometime after the All-Star Game break.

Update: DIRECTV has just posted a mid-season plan for $120, which can be paid in four installments.

It’s possible that other pay TV providers will offer a free preview this week, but thus far, there have been no announcements.
