DIRECTV Adds Local HD in Tucson
And Phoenix viewers will get the Suns in high-def.

The following broadcast networks are now available in HD to DIRECTV subscribers in Tucson: KGUN/ABC, KMSB/Fox, KOLD/CBS and KVOA/NBC.
The satellite TV service said it hopes to add more Tucson high-def stations in the future.

DIRECTV subs in Phoenix will get Steve Nash in HD.
With the addition of Tucson, DIRECTV now offers local HD channels in 68 cities, which represent more than 72 percent of U.S. TV households
In related news, DIRECTV has added KUTP/MNT Channel 45 to its local HD programming lineup in Phoenix. The channel carries Phoenix Suns games in high-def.
DIRECTV recently also increased its national HD lineup from nine to more than 80 channels.
