Dish Adds Local HD Channels In Norfolk, VA
The satcaster now has local high-def in 55 markets.

However, Dish did not reveal which local channels were added in the new market. Satellite and cable TV services sometimes do not offer all major broadcast networks in local high-def due to carriage disputes with the local affiliates.
The satcaster has said it plans to offer local HD channels in 100 markets by year's end.
Dish now has HD locals in 55 markets, reaching more than 64 percent of U.S. TV households.
