Washington, D.C. (September 18, 2011) -- DIRECTV this month added AMC HD, the first basic cable channel it's added in high-def in more than a year.

The move was applauded heartily by the satcaster's HD subscribers who have urged DIRECTV to add more basic cable channels in high-def. While DIRECTV has remained tight-lipped about possible future additions, we thought it would be helpful to allow you to make your opinions known publicly.

So we are starting a poll here where you can vote for which basic cable HD channel that DIRECTV should add next. Your choices, in no particular order, are BBC America HD, Turner Classic Movies HD, OWN HD, E! Entertainment HD, TruTV HD, Nat Geo Wild HD or Other.
