-- BrightHouse Networks, a cable operator based in
western Florida, has added ESPN 2 HD to its high-def
lineup.
In addition, Cable One, which offers cable TV service in 19 states, tells the Biloxi Sun-Herald today that it will soon add ESPN 2 HD.
Company officials add that they are "beefing up" their high-def lineup, but they did not give an exact launch date for ESPN 2 HD.
Time Warner Cable, which has been rumored to be close to adding the sports high-def network, has yet to make an announcement.
A Time Warner spokesman told TVPredictions.com on Sunday that he was not aware of any imminent addition of ESPN 2 HD.
But a TVPredictions.com 'HD Observer' told us this morning that Time Warner has just added ESPN 2 HD to his high-def lineup in Charlotte, North Carolina. Another HD Observer said it's been added to parts of South Carolina.
