Washington, D.C. (March 6, 2008) -- Fox Sports announced today that it will air all 2008 Major League Baseball broadcasts in High-Definition.

The network, which broadcasts up to three MLB games most every Saturday afternoon during the season, last year often only showed one or two games weekly in high-def.

Fox said this season's broadcast schedule will begin on April 5 with regional coverage, including a game between the New York Mets vs. the Atlanta Braves.

On April 12, Fox will show the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game.

The network's HD baseball coverage will also include the annual All-Star Game on July 15, this year at Yankee Stadium.
