Fox Sports Net has announced that it's adding national HDTV
broadcasts to its lineup of high-def college football games.
The first national game will be Utah vs. UCLA on Saturday,
September 2, at 7 p.m. ET. Fox Sports Net channel is available
on DIRECTV and most cable systems.
Previously, Fox Sports Net only provided local and regional
broadcasts of college gridiron action. However, the network said
it will broadcast 23 national games, 15 of which will be from
the Big 12 and Pac 10 conferences.
The channel says it broadcasts more than 1,400 hours of HDTV
action every year, including football, baseball, basketball and
hockey.
