That's according to an article by Multichannel News.
FSN, which has 16 regional sports networks around the country, says it will offer 1,024 baseball games live and in HD during the 2008 season.
The company says that represents 63 percent of its entire TV baseball viewing schedule for the 2008 season.
“We’re pleased to be able to offer more than 1,000 Major League Baseball games in high-def this season,” Randy Freer, president of FSN Networks, in a statement. “Increasing our commitment to High-Definition programming allows FSN to offer greater value to our viewers, team partners, and distributors.”
FSN provides regional sports coverage for such teams as the Detroit Tigers and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Some teams, such as the New York Yankees, are broadcast by separately owned sports networks.
