Gateway Launches 2 HDTV/PC Displays
One monitor will support 1080p video.

The new Gateway 24-inch HD display, model FHD2400, is priced at $549.99 with an optional speaker bar for $49.99 The display includes 1080p HD support and 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, which will appeal to owners of high-def disc players which offer 1080p images.
The 24-inch display also features a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a new Ultrabright Glare panel with a 92 percent color gamut, making colors richer and more defined.

The new Gateway 22-inch HD display, model HD2200, is priced at $349.99. The display offers 720p HD support and 1,680 x 1,050 resolution with a contrast ratio of 1,000 to 1.
Both displays offer universal connections to content and video sources via analog and digital video inputs. Gateway earlier this year launched a 30-inch HD widescreen display.
“Following the successful launch earlier this month of our industry-leading 30-inch Extreme HD display, the Gateway 24-inch and 22-inch offerings round out our new line of displays with cutting-edge technology across the board,” said John Schindler, Gateway’s director of consumer product marketing.
The displays are now available at retailers nationwide.
