"There are over 80,000 movie titles and TV episodes available through Google TV," Mario Queiroz, vice president of Google TV, tells USA Today.

The new LG Google-enabled set will include a controller that has a keyboard on one side and a remote on the other, USA Today writes.  The TV is expected to be available at retail in March.

Sony launched the first Google-powered set in October 2010, and Logitech later launched a Google TV set-top. However, users often complained that Google's navigation and search functions were slow and confusing, which likely led to the product's disappointing sales numbers.

But Google thinks that it has ironed out the kinks and is now ready to compete with other Net TV services.

"We're trying to make it easier for the consumer to find content," Queiroz said.
