Here are some of the more notable recent quotes about High-Definition TV.

Washington, D.C. (April 20, 2007) -- High-Definition TVs are now in roughly 30 million U.S. homes and the industry appears ready to boom again later this year.

With HDTV finally taking off, the term itself is becoming a part of our everyday language. Whether it's high-def, HDTV, HD or High-Definition, people are talking about it or using the concept to illustrate a larger meaning.

So we thought that it would be interesting to list some of the more notable recent quotes that refer to High-Definition TV in one way or another.

"Pat Robertson in HD. Lord help us all."
-- David Brody, a reporter for Robertson's Christian Broadcasting Network, which will soon switch to high-def.
