Washington, D.C. (September 26, 2011) -- PC World has selected its 10 best HDTVs of 2011 and LG leads the list with three of the ten picks.

The rest of the list includes two Samsung sets, two Panasonic sets, one Sharp, one Vizio and one Sony.

However, despite the strong showing by LG, Samsung and Panasonic, PC World notes that the difference in picture quality between the 10 sets was not dramatic.

"If you're buying a new midrange or high-end TV from one of the major TV manufacturers, you can expect it to look great. Our jurors rate TV image quality on a 100-point scale, and the difference between the TV with the highest marks for image quality and our number-ten choice was a mere 6 points," the magazine writes.

So here are PC World's top five picks -- and links to their Amazon.com pages if you're interested in buying one.

The magazine's top pick: Samsung 46-Inch LED HDTV
The Samsung 46-inch LED 46UND8000, which PC World says delivers excellent picture quality and features. The set was rated as "superior," getting 4.5 stars out of a possible 5.

Number two: LG 47-Inch LED HDTV
The LG Infinia LED 47-inch 47LW6500, which PC World rated as "Very Good" with "top notch features."

Number three: Sony 46-inch LED/LCD HDTV
The Sony Bravia 46-inch LEDLCD 46HX820, also rated as "very good." PC World also wrote that the set "looks great in either the 2D or 3D mode."

Number four: LG 50-Inch Plasma HDTVG
The LG Infinia 50PZ950 Plasma HDTV, which PC World said has "a very good image quality and an excellent features selection."

Number five: Vizio 65-Inch LED HDTV
The Vizio 65-inch XVT3D650SV LED HDTV, which PC World said combines good image quality with solid connected TV features.
