Will You Buy a HDTV This Holiday
Season?
By Swanni
Washington, D.C. (October 12,
2011) -- A new Ipsos poll says
that 45 percent of consumers are planning to spend less this
holiday season. Clearly, the nation's economic woes are
dampening enthusiasm for the traditional holiday shopping sprees
on Black Friday and weekends prior to Christmas.
But will this caution spread to the CE retail stores and online
sites that sell televisions and related items?
We thought we would ask you, the reader, about your plans. So,
are you planning to buy a High-Definition this holiday season?
Is the lure of Smart TVs and 3D TVs enough to get you out and
shopping? Or, perhaps, the likely lure of sets deeply discounted
might entice you.
Regardless, let us know your intentions in this poll below. And,
if you would like, you can offer your comments by clicking on
the Results button.
