Washington, D.C. (January 27, 2012) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.
Today's 'HD Hottie' is Aly Michalka who stars tonight in high-def in CSI: NY on CBS at 9 p.m. ET.
The 22-year-old actress, who was born in Torrance, California, started as a musician as a teenager, playing in a Christian band. Aly's first acting break came when she was cast in the Disney Channel show, Phil of the Future.
Aly continues to play music and is now part of a band with her sister called 78violet. But she generated for her work in TV and movies and was cast last year to star as a cheerleader in the new CW series Hellcats. However, the series was cancelled after one season.
Aly also recently starred in the movies, Easy A and The Roommate and tonight she plays a sexy punk rocker in CSI: NY.
