Today's HD Hottie: Drew Barrymore

Washington, D.C. (July 23, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is the Drew Barrymore, who stars tonight in high-def in Charlie's Angels at 6:30 p.m. ET on Cinemax.

The 33-year-old actress, who was born in Culver City, California, first came to America's attention as a child actress in Altered States and Steven Spielberg's E.T. After a much-publicized battle with drug and alcohol abuse during her teen years, Drew bounced back at 17 in the 1992 thriller Poison Ivy.

But her adult career really began to soar in the 1990s with a series of romantic comedies including The Wedding Singer, Home Fries and Wishful Thinking. She continued to play light in the next decade with starring roles in 50 Dates with Adam Sandler (her co-star in The Wedding Singer), Charlie's Angels and Music and Lyrics.

Her next film is He's Just Not That Into You, based on the popular book. The film will be released this October.
