April 28: Kristen Bell, The HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (April 28, 2010) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Kristen Bell, who stars tonight in high-def on Forgetting Sarah Marshall at 9:05 p.m. ET on Cinemax West.

The 29-year-old actress, who was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan, started as a child actress, getting work in local Detroit theaters. She got her first big break in 2001 when she was cast in the Lifetime movie, Gracie's Choice. She was later cast opposite Val Kilmer in the film Spartan and then she won the title role in the WB drama, Veronica Mars, in 2004.

Veronica Mars lasted three seasons and Kristen has since starred in NBC's Heroes and the movie hit, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. She also does the voice narration on Gossip Girl.

Her most recent film was When in Rome, but she will soon star in a musical called Burlesque which will co-star Cher and Christina Aguilera.
