Today's 'HD Hottie' is Kristen Bell, who stars in high-def in Heroes at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. (Although her character in Heroes recently appeared to have exited from the scene -- or did she?)
The 28-year-old actress, who was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan, started as a child actress, getting work in local Detroit theaters. She got her first big break in 2001 when she was cast in the Lifetime movie, Gracie's Choice. She was later cast opposite Val Kilmer in the film Spartan and then she won the title role in the WB drama, Veronica Mars, in 2004.
Veronica Mars lasted three seasons and Kristen has since guest starred in NBC's Heroes and the summer movie hit, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Her next film will be Fanboys, which should be released in February 2009.
