Today's 'HD Hottie' is Kate Bosworth, who stars today in high-def in 21 at 1:25 p.m. ET on Starz.
The 26-year-old actress, who was born in Los Angeles, got her first big break in the Robert Redford film, Horse Whisperer, in 1998. But her first starring role was as a surfer in the 2002 docu-drama Blue Crush, which also starred Michelle Rodriguez.

After Blue Crush, hot directors lined up to cast her and she won roles in The Rules of Attraction, Wonderland and as 1960s singing icon Sandra Dee in Beyond the Sea, which was directed by Kevin Spacey, who also played Dee's husband, singer Bobby Darin.
She defeated dozens of actresses to capture the role of Lois Lane in Superman Returns and she reteamed with Spacey in this year's theatrical release of 21. Her next film is expected to be Laundry Warrior, a fantasy action film set in New Zealand. And she has just signed to star in a remake of Sam Peckinpah's Straw Dogs.
