Jennie Finch: Today's HD Hottie

Washington, D.C. (August 20, 2008) -- Following our extremely popular contest, 'HD Hottie Hysteria,' we've started a new feature in which we will highlight a top female star every day. The gorgeous female will come from a program that can be seen in gorgeous high-def that very day.

Today's 'HD Hottie' is Jennie Finch, who stars this week in high-def in The 2008 Summer Olympic Games at a time to be determined on NBC.

Finch, the star pitcher of the U.S. women's softball team, will play in the Gold Medal round on Thursday, Beijing time. Australia will play Japan today in an elimination game to decide which team will play the Americans in the finals.

The U.S. team will be going for its fourth straight Olympic Gold Medal.

Thus far in the 2008 Olympic competition, the 27-year-old Finch is 2-0 and has allowed just two hits in 11 innings. She is married to Casey Daigle, a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins.
